Step 1
Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C). Line two large baking sheets with parchment paper and set aside.
Step 2
In a large bowl combine the Old Fashioned Rolled Oats (2 1/2 cups) , Pecans (1 cup) , Shelled Sunflower Seeds (1/2 cup) , Wheat Germ (1/3 cup) , stir to combine.
Step 3
In a small saucepan, add the Brown Sugar (1/2 cup) , Pure Maple Syrup (1/2 cup) , Canola Oil (1/3 cup) , Ground Cinnamon (1 tsp) , and Salt (1/4 tsp) . Heat over medium high heat, stirring constantly until brown sugar dissolves (do not boil).
Step 4
Divide the granola between the two sheet pans and spread into a single layer. Bake for 10 minutes, stir the granola, spread out into a single layer and bake for another 10 minutes, until golden and fragrant.
Step 5
Remove from the oven and cool for 1 to 2 minutes before adding the Dried Cranberries (1 cup) , and tossing together.
Step 6
Cool to room temperature and transfer to airtight storage containers.
