Step 1
Cover cookie sheet or baking pan with waxed paper, aluminum foil, or parchment paper. Place
CANDIQUIK® Vanilla Candy Coating (2 1/4 cups)
over it and cut into chunks. Place the pieces in a 2-quart microwavable casserole dish.
Step 2
Microwave uncovered on high about 2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds until almost melted. Stir until smooth.
Step 3
Place the
Hard Peppermint Candies (12)
and the
Hard Spearmint Candies (12)
in a gallon-sized Ziploc bag; crush with rolling pin or bottom of small heavy saucepan. Pour the crushed candies into a small bowl.
Step 4
Shake strainer over bowl until all of the tiniest candy pieces fall into the bowl, leaving the larger pieces in the strainer. Add the “mint dust” to the melted candy coating. Stir well.
Step 5
Spread coating mixture evenly on prepared pan.
Step 6
Sprinkle the larger candy pieces over the top.
Step 7
Let stand about 1/2 hour at room temperature and then refrigerate another 1/2 hour, or until mint bark is cool and hardened.
Step 8
Break into pieces. Serve and enjoy!
