Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C).
In a medium saucepan, combine the Cherry (1 pound), Honey (1 tablespoon), Balsamic Vinegar (1/2 teaspoon), Fresh Basil (2 tablespoon), and a pinch of Kosher Salt (to taste).
Cook over medium-low heat for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally until the cherries are just starting to release their juice. Remove from the heat and let cool slightly.
Meanwhile, arrange Baguette (1) on a sheet pan. Brush lightly with Extra-Virgin Olive Oil (to taste), sprinkle with Kosher Salt (to taste) and Freshly Ground Black Pepper (to taste) and bake for 10 minutes, or until lightly toasted.
To assemble the crostini, spread a layer of Goat Cheese (8 ounce) onto each baguette slice, then top with a spoonful of cooked cherries. Sprinkle the remaining Fresh Basil (2 tablespoon) over the crostini and serve immediately.
