Author's Notes

If you can whip up the ginger simple syrup in advance, this cocktail is even easier to make when you’re ready to enjoy it. The Meyer lemons add a nice tang, but the sweetness is what makes them so wonderful in this summery cocktail. If you can’t find them, regular lemons work just fine – they may just have a slightly more sour flavor. Still tasty though!

Cooking Instructions

HIDE IMAGES
Step 1
Muddle Ginger Simple Syrup (1 fluid ounce) and Pineapple (1/4 cup).
Step 2
Add Bourbon (2 fluid ounce), 1 oz of juice from a Meyer Lemon (1), and ice. Stir until combined and chilled.
Step 3
Strain into a glass with a large ice cube – I love using my sphere molds for this!
