Cooking Instructions

Step 1
In a heavy bottom sauce pan over high heat, add Granulated Sugar (1 cup) and Water (1/3 cup) . Swirl the pan until the Granulated Sugar and Water are mixed together. Allow the sugar to dissolve.
Step 2
Lower the heat to medium low and cook the mixture until it turns an amber (yellowish-orange) color. This could take up to 8 to 10 minutes.
Step 3
Stir in Butter (1/4 cup) until melted.
Step 4
Add Heavy Cream (1/2 cup) and stir until mixed.
Step 5
Turn the heat off, add Salt (to taste) and whisk.
Step 6
Transfer caramel sauce into a heat resistant container and allow to cool completely. Serve and enjoy!
