Author's Notes

This recipe yields 400-500 ml of Jam.

The jam can keep for at least six months in a cool, dark place. Refrigerate jars once opened.

Cooking Instructions

Step 1
Add Fresh Blackberries (7 cups) , 1 Tbsp of Lemon Juice (1) , and Caster Sugar (4 1/2 cups) to a large saucepan, mix well. Cover and leave the fruit at room temperature overnight.
Step 2
Place the saucepan on low heat for 3 minutes to gently warm up the blackberries without boiling. Stir often until the sugar has dissolved entirely and has developed a nice deep blackberry flavor to the juice.
