Step 1
Mix
Sour Cream (1/2 cup)
,
Granulated Sugar (1 1/2 cups)
, and
Sea Salt (1 pinch)
in a medium saucepot. Put on the stovetop on low and stir constantly until it gets thick and creamy about 6 minutes or until it reaches 240 degrees F (115 degrees C).
Step 2
Add
Vanilla Extract (1 tsp)
and
Pecans (4 1/2 cups)
and remove from heat, stir nuts until they are all coated well.
Step 3
Spread over waxed or parchment paper. Let them sit overnight to dry.
Step 4
Package up and take as little gifts to friends or serve and enjoy!
