Sour Cream (1/2 cup)
Granulated Sugar (1 1/2 cups)
Sea Salt (1 pinch)
in a medium sauce pot. Put on stove top on low and stir constantly until it gets thick and creamy about 6 minutes or until it reaches 240 degrees F (115 degrees C). Add
Vanilla Extract (1 tsp)
Pecans (4 1/2 cups)
and remove from heat, stir nuts until they are all coated well.
Spread over waxed or parchment paper. I have found they need to sit over night to dry.
Package up and take as little gifts to friends or serve and enjoy!
