Step 1
To make a ginger simple syrup, combine
Granulated Sugar (1 cup)
and
Water (1 cup)
in a small boiler over medium-high heat. Bring to a boil, stirring to dissolve the sugar. Add
Fresh Ginger (1/4 cup)
and return to boil.
Step 2
Remove from heat and steep for 30 minutes. Strain the syrup and store in an airtight container until ready to use.
Step 3
Fill a quart mason jar with
Ice (as needed)
.
Step 4
Add
Four Roses Bourbon (2 fl oz)
, juice from
Lemons (2)
, 4 fl oz ginger syrup,
Water (4 fl oz)
, and
Apple Cider Vinegar (1 tsp)
. Place the lid on the jar and shake.
Step 5
Garnish jar with
Lemons (to taste)
. Serve and enjoy!
