Step 1
Prepare Big Green Egg or other BBQ grill/smoker for indirect cooking at 325 degrees F (160 degrees C). Add pecan wood chunks to hot coals for smoke flavor.
Step 2
Combine
All-Purpose Spice Rub (1 cup)

Chipotle Chili Powder (1 Tbsp)

Ground Cumin (1 tsp)
. Season
Bone-In, Skin-On Chicken Leg Quarters (4 lb)
on all sides.
Step 3
Place each leg quarter on the grill and cook until internal temperature reaches 170 degrees F (77 degrees C), about 30 minutes.
Step 4
Place
Chipotle Peppers in Adobo Sauce (2)
,
Honey (1/4 cup)
, and
Barbecue Sauce (2 cups)
in a food processor and pulse until smooth. Brush glaze over leg quarters and cook for another 10 minutes.
Step 5
Remove leg quarters from grill once internal temperature reaches 175 degrees F (80 degrees C) and serve.
