The Only Popcorn Recipe You Need

No worries; you can still have all the flavors of the traditional baked treat—just pack it into a batch of popcorn instead of piling it into a crust. With cinnamon, apple pie spice, and vanilla, the recipe maintains all the flavors of the original, while a touch of stevia keeps it sugar free.

Cooking Instructions

Step 1
Place a large pot over medium high heat. Add the Vegetable Oil (2 Tbsp) and 4 corn kernels, these will be a test.
Step 2
Place the lid on the pot and watch for the kernels to pop, this will probably take a minute or so.
Step 3
Once all 4 kernels have popped, lift the lid and remove those kernels so they don't burn.
Step 4
Add the Popcorn Kernels (1/2 cup) to the pan.
Step 5
Cover the pot with the lid and remove from heat. Hold the pot away from the stove and shake back and forth for 30 seconds.
Step 6
Return the pot to the stove. Set the lid so there is a small gap, which will allow steam to escape so your popcorn doesn't get soggy.
Step 7
As the kernels start to pot, gently shake the pot back and forth over the heat to ensure even heating.
Step 8
The kernels will continue to pop. When there is about 2 seconds between popping, it's time to remove the pot from the heat.
Step 9
Pour the popcorn into a bowl and season with Salt (to taste) . If you'd like, drizzle with Olive Oil (to taste) . Then shake vigorously so the popcorn is evenly coated.
Step 10
Serve and enjoy!
