Add Granulated Sugar (1 cup) and Water (1/2 cup) into a medium sauce pan. Stir the mix over a medium heat until all the sugar is dissolved.
Allow it to simmer on a medium heat for about five to seven minutes, or until the syrup starts turning into a lovely dark amber color. Once it starts to turn amber, take the pot off the heat completely.
Add in Butter (7 tablespoon), carefully, because it can make it sizzle off really quickly. Carefully stir them together.
Add in Whipping Cream (1/2 cup) and give it a stir. After done, whisk in the Salt (1 teaspoon) as well.
Allow the mix to cool for five to ten minutes, and you are ready to use it.
