Canola Oil

Salt

Ground Black Pepper
Cooking Instructions
1.
Peel the Plantains (2) and chop off the ends. Cut diagonally into 1 to 2-inch pieces.
2.
In a frying pan, warm Canola Oil (as needed) until it starts to bubble. Place plantains in the oil and cook for 30-45 seconds on each side, or until golden brown.
3.
Remove with slotted spoon and transfer to a plate lined with paper towels to drain the oil.
4.
Mash the plantain slices and return them to the oil. Cook for about 45 seconds on each side, or until crispy.
5.
Transfer finished plantain slices to a serving platter and sprinkle with Salt (to taste) and Ground Black Pepper (to taste). Serve immediately and enjoy!
