Author's Notes

You can adapt this recipe for a 6-quart slow cooker. Add the sauce ingredients to the slow cooker and broiled meatballs. Cook on high 3 hours, or 6 hours on low.

Heat Olive Oil (4 Tbsp) over medium low heat and sauté Yellow Onion (1/2 cup) and Garlic (4 cloves) until onions are translucent, 3 minutes.

Add Tomato Paste (2/3 cup) and stir well. Add Canned Crushed Tomatoes (7 cups) and simmer 30 minutes.
