To devein Prawns (2.2 lb) use a knife to slice along the backbone of the prawn. Pull out the alimentary canal and discard.

In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the Butter (3.5 oz) and add the Olive Oil (4 tsp). Stir through the Smoked Paprika (1 tsp) and Red Chili Peppers (2), and remove the pan from the heat.

Add in the Garlic (4 cloves) and leave the butter to sit for 5 minutes. Season the butter with Coarse Sea Salt (to taste).

Arrange the cleaned prawns in a large ovenproof dish and pour over the paprika butter. If cooking the prawns in the oven, place them in the dish under a hot 425 degrees F (220 degrees C) grill for 2-3 minutes per side.
