Author's Notes

For extra saucy ground beef taco meat, mix in 1 tsp of cornstarch to every 2 Tbsp of the mix before you add it to the browned ground beef. Add the mix and stir to coat the meat, then add ¼ cup water and cook until thickened and saucy.

Will keep for up to 6 months in an airtight container stored in a cool dark place.

In a small bowl or jar, add Chili Powder (2 Tbsp) , Ground Cumin (1 Tbsp) , Smoked Paprika (1 tsp) , Garlic Powder (1 tsp) , Fine Salt (1 tsp) , Freshly Ground Black Pepper (1 tsp) , Dried Oregano (1/2 tsp) , Onion Powder (1/2 tsp) , Granulated Sugar (1/2 tsp) , and Cayenne Pepper (1/2 tsp) and mix until combined. Store in an airtight container.
