Step 1
In a bowl, combine
Ground Chicken (1 lb)

Fresh Parsley (1 Tbsp)

Salt (1 tsp)

Ground Black Pepper (1/2 tsp)

Garlic (2 cloves)

Smoked Paprika (1 tsp)
,
Dijon Mustard (1 Tbsp)
, and
Lemon Juice (1)

Step 2
Use a box grater to finely grate the
Red Onion (1/2)
over the bowl, so all of the juice goes into the burger mix.
Step 3
Next, add
Olive Oil (1 Tbsp)
to the bowl and use your hands to mix everything together. Form the mixture into 4 equal-sized patties with your hands. Press down on the patties until they are about 1-inch thick.
Step 4
In a cast-iron or other 10 to 12-inch skillet, add
Olive Oil (1 Tbsp)
. Heat over medium-high heat.
Step 5
Once the oil is hot, add the burger patties to the skillet. Cook for 5 minutes. Flip and cook for another 4-5 minutes.
Step 6
If you are using cheese, add a slice of
Cheddar Cheese (4 slices)
to each burger about 1 minute before they are done cooking. The internal temperature of the burgers should be at least 165 degrees F (70 degrees C).
Step 7
Serve the burgers warm on a toasted
Hamburger Buns (4)
with
Lettuce (to taste)

Tomatoes (4 slices)
, sliced red onion, or your favorite toppings.
