Before beginning the alfredo sauce, boil the
Fettuccine (12 oz)

Place the
Butter (1/3 cup)

Heavy Cream (1 cup)

Cream Cheese (1/3 cup)

Garlic (1 clove)

Salt (1/4 tsp)

Ground Black Pepper (1 pinch)

Ground Nutmeg (1 pinch)
in a medium saucepan. Cook over medium heat, whisking until the butter and cream cheese melts.
Step 3
Add the
Grated Parmesan Cheese (1 1/4 cups)
and whisk until smooth. Reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer for 3-5 minutes, or until it starts to thicken.
Step 4
Pour over the cooked and drained pasta, tossing to combine. Serve immediately.
