Author's Notes

Raw shrimp cooked with garlic will give you the best flavor, but if you prefer using precooked shrimp, you can. Skip Step 2 and add the Step 3 ingredients right to the pan with the softened garlic. Add the shrimp with the butter in Step 4 to heat through.

Cooking Instructions

Step 1
Heat the Olive Oil (2 Tbsp) in a large pan over medium-high heat. When the oil is shimmering, add the Garlic (6 cloves) and Medium Raw Peeled Deveined Tail-On Shrimps (1 bag) . Cook, covered, for 4-5 minutes, or until cooked through. Transfer the shrimp to a plate.
Step 2
To the same skillet, add the Water (5 cups) , White Wine (1/2 cup) , Lemon Juice (1) , Salt (1/2 tsp) , and Spaghetti (1 box) . Simmer uncovered for 9-10 minutes, until the spaghetti is cooked to your liking.
Step 3
Stir in the Butter (3 Tbsp) , lemon zest, and Crushed Red Pepper Flakes (1/4 tsp) .
Step 4
When the butter is melted, add the cooked shrimp and Fresh Parsley (1/4 cup) .
