Author's Notes

Depending on the size of your microwave, you may need to cook the oats in batches.

No microwave? No problem! Bake these oats at 350 degrees F (180 degrees C) for 20 minutes.

Step 1
Add the Apple Sauce (1/2 cup) , Milk (1/2 cup) , Old Fashioned Rolled Oats (1 cup) , Large Eggs (2) , Maple Syrup (2 Tbsp) , Vanilla Extract (1/2 tsp) , Baking Powder (1/2 tsp) , Salt (1 pinch) , and Ground Cinnamon (1 tsp) to a blender. Blend for 1 minute, until smooth.
Step 2
Divide the mixture between 4 ramekins.
Step 3
Stir ¼ of the Apple (1) into each ramekin.
Step 4
Microwave for 3-5 minutes, or until the top of the oats are set and the side begins to pull away from the ramekin.
Step 5
Using a pot holder, carefully remove the ramekins from the microwave (they will be very hot!) and let them cool for 2-3 minutes before eating. Sprinkle with additional cinnamon, if desired.
