Step 1
Brush
Flank Steak (1 lb)

and season with
Salt (1 tsp)

Ground Black Pepper (1 tsp)

Cook on a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat for 5-7 minutes per side, or until the steak is cooked to your liking (medium is 140-150 degrees F or 60-65 degrees C).
Step 3
While the steaks cook, divide the
Romaine Lettuce (1 head)

Cherry Tomatoes (2 1/4 cups)

Red Onion (1/2)
, and
Colby Jack Cheese (1 cup)
into serving bowls.
Step 4
Remove steaks from the heat and allow them to rest for about 5 minutes before slicing.
Step 5
Top salads with sliced steak and add
Ranch Dressing (1/3 cup)
as desired.
