Turn the oven to broil. Pat the
Flank Steak (1.5 lb)
dry and season with
Salt (to taste)
Ground Black Pepper (to taste)
Heat a skillet and sear the steak on both sides for 3 minutes. Set the steak aside and let it rest while preparing the romaine.
Romaine Lettuce (2 heads)
Olive Oil (as needed)
and place on a foil-lined baking sheet.
Broil for 3-5 minutes until charred (watch closely!).
Slice the steak across the grain.
Plate overtop romaine halves with
Cherry Tomatoes (to taste)
Cheese (1/4 cup)
Croutons (1 bag)
. Drizzle with
Caesar Dressing (1/2 cup)
and toss well to mix. Optionally, serve with
Lemon Wedges (to taste)
