Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).

In a large mixing bowl, add Light Soy Sauce (1/4 cup), Mirin (3 Tbsp), Fish Sauce (2 Tbsp), Dark Brown Sugar (3 Tbsp), Garlic (2 cloves), Fresh Ginger (1 tsp), Ground Black Pepper (1 tsp), and Sesame Oil (3 Tbsp). Mix well.

In the same bowl, add in Flat Iron Steak (1.5 lb) and mix until evenly coated. Marinade in the fridge for 30 minutes for a better result, or cook it straight away.

Add Yellow Onion (1) to a baking sheet and layer the meat on top.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes until the beef is slightly charred.

Garnish with Scallions (2 Tbsp) and Sesame Seeds (2 Tbsp). Enjoy with rice or make them into lettuce wraps!
