Step 1
In a skillet over medium-high heat, melt the
Unsalted Butter (3 Tbsp)
. Add the
Garlic (2 cloves)
and cook until golden brown (about 1 minute). Remove garlic from the skillet and place on a paper towel.
Step 2
In the same skillet, add
Green Beans (3 cups)
and cook for 7 minutes or until lightly charred.
Step 3
Add
Chicken Broth (1/2 cup)
and season with
Salt (to taste)
and
Ground Black Pepper (to taste)
. Stir and cover with a lid to steam for about 5 more minutes or until soft.
Step 4
Add
Cheddar Cheese (1 cup)
to the green beans and give it a stir until the cheese is melted; about 20 seconds. Remove from heat.
Step 5
Top with
Fried Onions (1 tub)
and
Bacon Bits (to taste)
. Enjoy it as a side dish!
