Cooking Instructions
1.
Slice the
Crucian Carp Fillets (9 oz)
into 1/2 inch strips.

Transfer the fish into a bowl. Add the
Ground Ginger (1/2 tsp)
. Set aside.
3.
In a bowl, add the
Corn Starch (3 Tbsp)
,
Water (1/2 cup)
and some
Salt (to taste)
.
4.
Add the fish and massage it into the cornstarch mixture. Let it marinate for 10 minutes.

Roughly chop the
Fresh Cilantro (4 cups)
.
6.
Peel and slice the
Fresh Ginger (2 in)
into thin strips.
7.
In a pot, add
Water (4 cups)
and the sliced ginger. Bring to a boil.
8.
Once the water is boiling, add the marinated fish. Let cook for 5 minutes, then add the chopped cilantro. You can add more cilantro if you wish. Taste and adjust
Ground White Pepper (1/4 tsp)

Transfer to a bowl, and serve immediately.
