Cooking Instructions
1.
Pat Whole Turkey (14 lb) dry inside and out with a paper towel. This step is very important, since hot oil and water create a violent reaction.
2.
Into a pot, add Water (10 fl oz), Butter (1 stick), and Cajun Marinade (1 pckg). Stir together and heat until the mixture is lukewarm.
3.
Inject the cajun mixture into the turkey in a series of three straight lines down the back, as well as into the legs.
4.
Tuck the wings behind the bird.
5.
Preheat oil in deep fryer to 325 degrees F (160 degrees C).
6.
Deep fry turkey for 43 minutes, lowering into the oil very slowly.
7.
Transfer turkey to cutting board and coat with Cajun Rub (to taste).
8.
Place the turkey in a roasting bag and transfer to a cooler for 30 minutes.
9.
Carve turkey, serve, and enjoy!
