Cooking Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C).

Season the Cowboy Steak (3 lb) with Salt (to taste) and Freshly Ground Black Pepper (to taste). Sear oven-safe skillet with a mix of Butter (to taste) and Olive Oil (as needed). The butter gives the flavor, and the olive oil raises the smoke point of the butter so it doesn't burn.
Cover skillet and bake in the preheated oven for 2 1/2 hours.

Let the steak rest 15 minutes before serving.
