Author's Notes

Substitute to 100% chocolate or replace with more unsweetened cacao powder for a vegan option. Also, substitute with vegan marshmallows.

Place the Milk (2 cups), Unsweetened Cocoa Powder (2 Tbsp), Candy Cane (1), and Mini Marshmallows (4 Tbsp) in a saucepan over medium-low heat. Whisk constantly until warm but not boiling.

Add 75% Dark Chocolate (1/2 cup) and whisk constantly until the chocolate is melted and incorporated with milk.

Whisk in Vanilla Extract (as needed) and a pinch of Salt (1 pinch). Then, pour into mugs.
