Author's Notes

Options (Will Affect Nutritional Information)

Chocolate chip cookie cake: Add in 2 tsp of semi-sweet chocolate chips before microwaving in step 5.

Chocolate cake: Instead of 3 Tbsp of flour, add only 2 Tbsp of flour and 1 Tbsp of cocoa powder before microwaving in step 5.

Lemon Blueberry cake: Add 2 Tbsp lemon juice instead of water and add 12-15 blueberries before microwaving in step 5. May take about 10 more seconds in the microwave to bake.

Pumpkin spice cake: Add ½ tsp cinnamon, ¼ tsp nutmeg, 1⁄8 tsp ground clove, ¼ tsp ground ginger and I Tbsp pumpkin puree before microwaving in step 5. May take about 10 more seconds in the microwave.

Top your mug cake with whipped cream or even a scoop of Truvia oat milk ice cream!

Grab a 8-10 oz microwaveable mug.

In the mug, combine Butter (2 tsp) and Water (2 Tbsp). Microwave 30-40 seconds, or until butter is melted.

Add Truvia® Sweet Complete® Granulated All-Purpose Stevia Leaf Sweetener (2 Tbsp), Salt (as needed), and the Vanilla Extract (as needed). Mix with a fork.

Add Baking Powder (as needed) and All-Purpose Flour (3 Tbsp). Mix again until well combined.

Microwave for 45-50 seconds or until the cake has risen and is firm on the top. Enjoy!
