Into the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with a paddle attachment, add
Unsalted Butter (1 cup)
Granulated Sugar (1 cup)
. Cream together until smooth.
Large Eggs (2)
Vanilla Bean Paste (1/2 Tbsp)
. Mix to incorporate.
Rose Pink Food Coloring (6 dashes)
and mix well.
All-Purpose Flour (3 cups)
Baking Soda (1 tsp)
Salt (1/2 tsp)
. Mix until just combined.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (176 degrees C).
Place dough in the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes to firm up.
Form the dough into 15 small balls and place them on a baking sheet. Press
Chocolate Buttons (to taste)
into each. Sprinkle with
Sparkling Sugar (to taste)
Bake in the oven for 8-10 minutes.
