Cooking Instructions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (232 degrees C).
Step 2
In a mixing bowl, sift together All-Purpose Flour (1 3/4 cups) , Salt (1/2 tsp) , and Baking Powder (1 Tbsp) .
Step 3
Add Butter (1/3 cup) . Use a fork to mash the butter into the dry ingredients. Use your hands to crumble them together until the mixture forms small, coarse crumbs.
Step 4
Add Milk (3/4 cup) . Stir until a dough is formed.
Step 5
Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface. Knead until dough is no longer sticky. Roll it out to 1/4-inch thick.
Step 6
Cut out your biscuits.
Step 7
Transfer biscuits to a baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until tops are golden brown.
Step 8
Serve warm with butter and jam, alongside a hearty dinner, or smothered in gravy for a delicious breakfast.
