Step 1
Peel and cut the
Mango (1)
into chunks and puree in your blender along with the
Fresh Ginger (1/2 tsp)
,
Granulated Sugar (1/2 cup)
, and
Water (1/4 cup)
.
Step 2
In a large bowl or the jug, you’ll be serving this in, place the
Fresh Mint Leaves (to taste)
, cut one of the
Lime (1)
into pieces, and place in there as well, along with pieces of skin peel from the
Oranges (to taste)
. Then using a pestle or a bartending kit, press down to bruise everything so they release their natural oils and juices.
Step 3
Now squeeze in the other
Lime (1)
and top with the mango puree. If you are making this drink alcoholic, now is the time to add the
White Rum (3/4 cup)
, even though I skip that step. Then all you have to do now is add the
Soda Water (4 cups)
and stir to combine.
Step 4
Place a couple of
Fresh Mint Leaves (to taste)
, a slice or two of peel from the
Oranges (to taste)
, twist to release the fragrant oils, some crushed ice, and top with the virgin mango mojito to serve.
