Step 1
Heat oil in a pan. Add the Lotus Seeds (1 cup) . Stir for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown over a low flame.
Step 2
Add Red Chili Powder (1 tsp) , Ground Turmeric (1 pinch) , and Salt (to taste) . Mix and switch off heat immediately because you do not want to burn your nose nor the seeds.
Step 3
Add Garam Masala (1 tsp) or chat masala and mix well. You can eat it hot or store it for whenever you want a snack.
