In a large bowl, add
Unbleached All Purpose Flour (6 1/2 cups)
Instant Dry Yeast (2 pckg)
Salt (1 1/2 Tbsp)
Granulated Sugar (1 pinch)
. Mix well.
to flour mixture.
Butter (1/4 cup)
on low heat for a few seconds and add to the bowl.
Water (1 1/2 cups)
to the flour mixture.
Mix ingredients gently. Fold the flour into the wet ingredients so that everything is mixed well.
Cover dough with a clean dish towel for 30 to 60 minutes to allow dough to rise.
Sprinkle some flour on top of the dough to make it easier to knead.
Begin kneading the dough until it no longer feels sticky to the touch. Add some more flour to the dough as needed. Also, add a little
Olive Oil (to taste)
to your hands to keep excess dough from sticking.
Place the dough on a pan with parchment paper. Form the dough into a nice lump with your hands. Use a fork to pierce several holes at the top for even baking.
Sprinkle a little more flour on top and place in the oven heated at 410 degrees F (210 degrees C) for 50 minutes.
Remove the bread and let cool for 10 to 15 minutes. Slice, serve and enjoy!
