Slice the Shiitake Mushrooms (2 cups). Thinly slice the Onion (1/2).

Chop the Garlic (4 cloves).

Bring a large pot of water to a boil.

In a large frying pan over medium-high heat, melt half of the Butter (1/2 Tbsp) and add the onion. Salt (to taste) and cook until browned and soft for about 6 minutes

Drop the Broccoli Rabe (1 bunch) into the boiling water to blanch for 3 to 4 minutes. Drain and add to the frying pan with the shitake mushroom and onion, and cover until the rabe is completely softened.
