Cooking Instructions

Combine Milk (1 cup), Water (1/3 cup), Butter (2 Tbsp), Granulated Sugar (4 Tbsp) and Active Dry Yeast (2 tsp). In another bowl, combine All-Purpose Flour (3 1/4 cups) and Salt (2 tsp).

Make a well in the flour and pour liquid into it. Using a wooden spoon, mix until a slightly shaggy and sticky dough forms.

On a well floured surface, knead dough for about five minutes until no longer sticky.

Let rise for an hour in a greased bowl covered with plastic wrap.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C).

For the filling: combine Brown Sugar (1/3 cup) and Simply Organic Cinnamon, Ground (2 tsp). Once dough has risen. Roll out on a floured surface to 1/4″ thickness. Spread Butter (2 Tbsp) on top and sprinkle with brown sugar cinnamon.

Roll up and pinch sides to hold sugar in. Cut into sixteen pieces.

For the topping, finely chop the Walnuts (1/2 cup) In a cast iron skillet, melt the Butter (2 Tbsp) and stir together the Brown Sugar (2 Tbsp) and walnuts. Evenly space buns on top of nut topping. Bake in a 350 degrees F (180 degrees C) oven for 30 minutes.

Let it cool for 1 minute.

Flip skillet over onto a plate, let cool slightly.
