Cooking Instructions
1.
Combine All-Purpose Flour (2 cups), Salt (1 tsp), and Vegetable Shortening (2/3 cup) in a mixing bowl, then use a wooden spoon to mix them together. Add Water (1/3 cup) in 1 tablespoon increments while stirring.
2.
Turn the crust onto a floured surface, roll into a ball, and roll using a rolling pin. Make sure it is about 1/4 inch all the way across. Cut the dough into circles using a round glass or mason jar lid.
3.
Take the circles and press them into the pan.
4.
Microwave the Butter (4 Tbsp) until melted, then stir in the Brown Sugar (4 Tbsp). Throw the Apples (4) in and coat them with the caramel. Heap the dough cups full as the apples will cook down during baking.
5.
Bake at 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) for 20-25 minutes.
6.
Pop the bites out with a knife. Serve and enjoy!
