Step 1
For the polenta, bring
Water (6 cups)

Garlic Paste (1 tsp)

Salt (1 tsp)
, and
Cayenne Pepper (1 tsp)
to a simmer.
Step 2
Add
Coarse Cornmeal (1 1/2 cups)
and simmer until cornmeal is soft, about 40 minutes.
Step 3
Add
Cheese (1/2 cup)
,
Butter (2 Tbsp)
, and
Heavy Cream (1/2 cup)
. Check/adjust seasoning.
Step 4
Score and sautee
Spicy Italian Sausage (1)
.
Step 5
When sausage is done, set aside, add
Scallions (to taste)
to the pan, saute one minute and remove to absorbent paper.
Step 6
Poach the
Egg (1)
to desired doneness.
Step 7
Plate polenta with sausage, poached egg and scallions on top. Serve and enjoy!
