Cooking Instructions
1.
Preheat oven to 355 degrees F (180 degrees C).

In the bowl of your electric mixer, use the whisk attachment to beat up Extra-Virgin Olive Oil (1/3 cup), Brown Sugar (1/2 cup), and Flaxseed Meal (2 Tbsp) mixed with 5 Tbsp water.

Add the Barley Flour (1 cup), Cake Flour (1 cup), Baking Powder (1 tsp), and Vanilla Extract (as needed), and mix everything together using the paddle attachment of a wooden spoon

Roll out dough into a circle and lay it in a pie pan.

Peal and slice up the Pear (1). Place the slices in a skillet with Granulated Sugar (2 Tbsp) and Water (3 Tbsp) and cook on medium-high until it lightly caramelizes.
6.
In a saucepan, heat up Dark Chocolate (1 cup), Brown Sugar (3 Tbsp), and Rice Flour (1/4 cup). Stir constantly until a paste forms

Slowly pour in the Almond Milk (1 cup) and cook on low heat, stirring until it turns into a smooth cream.

Pour the chocolate cream into the pie crust,

Lay the pears on top and bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes.
10.
Remove from the oven and let your pie cool down. Sprinkle the top with some powder sugar if you want, and serve!
