Step 1
Combine the Fresh Strawberries (3 cups) , Fresh Blueberries (2 cups) , and Fresh Basil (1/4 cup) in a large bowl and give them a good stir.
Step 2
Then whisk the zest and juice of the Lemon (1) , Granulated Sugar (1/3 cup) , Dry Mustard (1/4 tsp) , and Salt (1/4 tsp) together in another bowl. While you keep whisking, slowly pour in the Canola Oil (1/2 cup) and continue to whisk until it is a thick dressing.
Step 3
Lastly whisk in the Poppy Seeds (1/2 tsp) . Coat the berries and basil in the dressing. Chill for a couple of hours or overnight, serve and enjoy!
