Fresh Strawberries, hulled, quartered
1/4 cup
Fresh Basil, roughly chopped
1
Lemon, zested, juiced
1/4 tsp
Dry Mustard
1/4 tsp
1/2 cup
Canola Oil
1/2 tsp
Poppy Seeds

Step 1
Combine the Fresh Strawberries (1 pound), Fresh Blueberries (1 pint), and Fresh Basil (1/4 cup) in a large bowl and give them a good stir.
Step 2
Then whisk the zest and juice of the Lemon (1), Granulated Sugar (1/3 cup), Dry Mustard (1/4 teaspoon), and Salt (1/4 teaspoon) together in another bowl. While you keep whisking, slowly pour in the Canola Oil (1/2 cup) and continue to whisk until it is a thick dressing.
Step 3
Lastly whisk in the Poppy Seeds (1/2 teaspoon). Coat the berries and basil in the dressing. Chill for a couple of hours or overnight, serve and enjoy!
