Classic Brownies

Chocolatey and fudgy, these are hands down the easiest and most luscious brownies around.

250 gram Granulated Sugar
65 gram Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
1/4 teaspoon Salt

STEP 1
Preheat oven to 160 degrees C (320 degrees F).
STEP 2
Fill a saucepan with a few inches of water, and bring to a simmer.
STEP 3
Place bowl on top of saucepan. Then add Unsweetened Cocoa Powder (65 gram), Unsalted Butter (150 gram), Granulated Sugar (250 gram), and Salt (1/4 teaspoon). Allow the butter to melt completely.
STEP 4
Let rest until the butter has melted and stir.
STEP 5
Remove bowl from heat.
STEP 6
Stir in Vanilla Extract (1 teaspoon).
STEP 7
Add Large Egg (2), one at a time. Stir well to combine.
STEP 8
Add All-Purpose Flour (70 gram).
STEP 9
Add Chocolate (75 gram) if using. Stir thoroughly to combine, about one minute.
STEP 10
Pour mixture into floured baking tin.
STEP 11
Spread out mixture evenly in the pan.
STEP 12
Place in the oven and bake for 40 minutes, or until just set. Serve and enjoy!
