Step 1
Grease a 9x13" baking pan with
Crisco (to taste)
. Spread the
Pizza Dough (1.1 lb)
in the pan. Place
String Cheese (6)
around the perimeter of the pan.
Step 2
Stretch the dough over and tuck under the cheese sticks.
Step 3
Combine
Tomato Paste (1 can)
,
Water (1 1/2 cups)
and bring to a boil. Add in
Dried Oregano (1/2 tsp)
,
Dried Basil (1/4 tsp)
,
Salt (1/4 tsp)
,
Ground Black Pepper (1/4 tsp)
,
Granulated Sugar (1/4 tsp)
,
Garlic Powder (1/8 tsp)
,
Onion Powder (1/8 tsp)
and
MSG (1/8 tsp)
.
Step 4
Simmer the sauce for 35-40 minutes.
Step 5
Spread the sauce on the dough before baking to keep the dough moist. Bake at 500 degrees F (260 degrees C) for 15 minutes.
Step 6
Spread on
Shredded Mozzarella Cheese (2 cups)
and
Pepperoni Slices (24 slices)
and bake again for 10 minutes.
Step 7
Broil for 2 minutes or the cheese is browned. Serve and enjoy!
