Heat your Frying Oil (to taste) between 350-375 degrees F (176-190 degrees C) in a deep pot over medium-high heat or in heat in a deep-fryer. If you are stovetop frying you'll need roughly 4 to 5 cups of oil to deep fry as well as a thermometer.
In a large bowl, whisk to combine Fine Ground Cornmeal (3/4 cup), All-Purpose Flour (3/4 cup), Baking Powder (2 teaspoon), Granulated Sugar (2 1/2 tablespoon), Sea Salt (1/4 teaspoon), and Ground Black Pepper (1/4 teaspoon). In a separate bowl, whisk together the Unsweetened Soy Milk (3/4 cup) and Aquafaba (1/4 cup). Mix the wet ingredients into the dry, until well combined. You can also do this in a food processor or blender.
