Preheat the oven at 350 degrees F (180 degrees C).
Butter (1/2 cup)
Brown Sugar (1/2 cup)
Golden Syrup (3 Tbsp)
, then stir in the
Old Fashioned Rolled Oats (2 1/2 cups)
and mix thoroughly.
Turn into a greased shallow 8-inch square tin and smooth the surface.
Bake in a preheated oven 350 degrees F (180 degrees C) for 20 minutes for a chewy consistency and up to 30 minutes for a harder consistency.
Cut into slices when warm, then cool completely before removing from the tin.
