Preheat the oven at 350 degrees F (180 degrees C).
Melt the Butter (4 ounce) with the Brown Sugar (4 ounce) and Golden Syrup (3 tablespoon), then stir in the Old Fashioned Rolled Oats (8 ounce) and mix thoroughly.
Turn into a greased shallow 8-inch square tin and smooth the surface.
Bake in a preheated oven 350 degrees F (180 degrees C) for 20 minutes for a chewy consistency and up to 30 minutes for a harder consistency.
Cut into slices when warm, then cool completely before removing from the tin.
