Step 1
Fill water into the tank of your oven. As always when using your advanced oven programs, you don't need to preheat. Just spray a 10-inch deep-dish pie plate or 8x8x2-inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray and set aside.
Step 2
In a medium bowl, toss the
Honeycrisp Apples (9 cups)
and
Plums (5 2/3 cups)
with 2 Tbsp of
Lemon Juice (1)
.
Step 3
In a small bowl, whisk together the
Old Fashioned Rolled Oats (1/4 cup)
,
Brown Sugar (1/2 cup)
,
Corn Starch (1/4 cup)
,
Kosher Salt (1 tsp)
,
Ground Cinnamon (1 tsp)
, and
Ground Cardamom (1/2 tsp)
. Sprinkle oat mixture on fruit slices; gently stir and let sit until juices start to accumulate about 5-10 minutes.
Step 4
Make the topping: In a medium bowl, mix together the
Old Fashioned Rolled Oats (3/4 cup)
,
All-Purpose Flour (1/2 cup)
,
Brown Sugar (1/2 cup)
, and
Ground Cardamom (1/2 tsp)
.
Step 5
Add
Unsalted Butter (1/4 cup)
and using a fork, mix together until it is well-blended and crumbly.
Step 6
Transfer apples and plums to the baking dish and spread evenly. Scatter topping over fruit. Sprinkle
Pistachios (1/3 cup)
evenly over the topping.
Step 7
Put the crumble into the oven and all you have to do is saying 'Alexa, tell cooking challenge to start oven'. The perfect program will be selected. Thanks to the added steam of the program, the baking will save the vitamins of the fruits.
Step 8
After the oven signals completion, please open the door cautiously, as hot steam may escape. Let cool slightly and serve warm. You can always serve with ice cream, but this stuff is pretty spectacular all on its own!
