Cooking Instructions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C). Spray a 9-inch cake pan with non-stick cooking spray.
Step 2
In a large bowl, combine the All-Purpose Flour (1 1/2 cups) , Granulated Sugar (1 cup) , Baking Powder (1/2 Tbsp) , and Kosher Salt (3/4 tsp) .
Step 3
In another large bowl, combine Large Eggs (3) , Ricotta Cheese (1 1/2 cups) , Vanilla Extract (1/2 tsp) , and Unsalted Butter (1/2 cup) . Then, slowly combine the flour mixture with the ricotta mixture.
Step 4
Once combined, pour the batter into cake pan. Place Blood Oranges (3) on top and bake for about 45 to 50 minutes or until golden brown.
Step 5
Remove the cake from oven to cool before slicing and dusting with Powdered Confectioners Sugar (to taste) .
