Ingredients

Fresh Basil Leaves
•
3 cloves
Garlic , peeled
•
1/2 cup
Parmigiano-Reggiano
•
1/2 cup
Walnuts , toasted
•

Lemon , juiced, zested
•
1/4 tsp
Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
•
1/2 cup
Extra-Virgin Olive Oil
•
1/2 tsp
Freshly Ground Black Pepper
•
1 tsp
Kosher Salt

Cooking Instructions

1. 
To the bowl of a food processor or Vitamix blender, add Fresh Basil Leaves (4 cups) , toasted Walnuts (1/2 cup) , Garlic (3 cloves) , Crushed Red Pepper Flakes (1/4 tsp) , Parmigiano-Reggiano (1/2 cup) , Lemon (1) .

Pulse a few times to break down the basil.
3. 
In a steady stream add Extra-Virgin Olive Oil (1/2 cup) , pulsing until olive oil is blended into other ingredients and mixture forms a loose paste.
4. 
Season with Freshly Ground Black Pepper (1/2 tsp) and Kosher Salt (1 tsp) . Enjoy!
