Cooking Instructions

Step 1
Slice the Bread (1 loaf).
Step 2
In a pot add the Milk (1 liter), Granulated Sugar (5 tablespoon), Cinnamon Stick (1), and bring up to a boil.
Step 3
Soak the bread in warm milk.
Step 4
In a frying pan add a good amount of olive oil and heat it up.
Step 5
In a plate or bowl beat the Egg (4). Soak the bread into the beaten eggs and fry the bread.
Step 6
Set the bread on some kitchen paper towel to drain the excess oil.
Step 7
On a plate, mix the Ground Cinnamon (to taste) with granulated sugar.
Step 8
Coat the slices of bread in the cinnamon-sugar mixture. You can eat the torrijas warm or cold. Enjoy!
