Step 1
Slice the
Bread (1 loaf)

In a pot add the
Milk (4 cups)

Granulated Sugar (1/3 cup)

Cinnamon Stick (1)
, and bring up to a boil.

Soak the bread in warm milk.
Step 4
In a frying pan add a good amount of olive oil and heat it up.
Step 5
In a plate or bowl beat the
Eggs (4)
. Soak the bread into the beaten eggs and fry the bread.
Step 6
Set the bread on some kitchen paper towel to drain the excess oil.
Step 7
On a plate, mix the
Ground Cinnamon (to taste)
with granulated sugar.
Step 8
Coat the slices of bread in the cinnamon-sugar mixture. You can eat the torrijas warm or cold. Enjoy!
