Combine the Cinnamon Sticks (2), Water (1/2 cup), Brown Sugar (1/2 cup), peel of a Orange (1), Black Peppercorns (5), and Whole Cloves (5) in a pot.

Heat over high heat and let it boil until the sugar dissolves.

Turn the heat to low and let simmer for 30 minutes.

Turn the heat off and let cool. Then transfer into a sealable glass container (removing the cinnamon sticks) and keep in the fridge for 1-2 weeks.
