Step 1
Combine the Cinnamon Sticks (2) , Water (1/2 cup) , Brown Sugar (1/2 cup) , peel of a Orange (1) , Black Peppercorns (5) , and Whole Cloves (5) in a pot.
Step 2
Heat over high heat and let it boil until the sugar dissolves.
Step 3
Turn the heat to low and let simmer for 30 minutes. Turn the heat off, let it cool, and set aside.
Step 4
Pour Spiced Apple Cider (1.5 fl oz) , Rye Whiskey (1 fl oz) , Dry Vermouth (0.8 fl oz) , 0.5 fl oz of spiced fall simple syrup, 0.5 oz of juice of Lemon (1) , and Angostura Bitters (2 dashes) into a mixing glass with ice.
Step 5
Stir to combine and chill.
Step 6
Strain out into a chilled coupe glass. Garnish with a Luxardo Cherry (1) .
