Combine the Cinnamon Stick (2), Whole Clove (5), Water (1/2 cup), peel of a Orange (1), Black Peppercorns (5), and Brown Sugar (1/2 cup) in a pot.
Heat over high heat and let it boil until the sugar dissolves.
Turn the heat to low and let simmer for 30 minutes. Turn the heat off, let it cool, and set aside.
Pour Angostura Bitters (2 dash), Rye Whiskey (1 fluid ounce), Dry Vermouth (0.75 fluid ounce), 0.5 fl oz of spiced fall simple syrup, 0.5 oz of juice of Lemon (1), and Spiced Apple Cider (1.5 fluid ounce) into a mixing glass with ice.
Stir to combine and chill.
Strain out into a chilled coupe glass. Garnish with a Luxardo Cherry (1).
