Superfoods have the particularity to be incredibly nutritious and it can provide your body with an array of health benefits. One of my favorites is Spirulina – "Spirulina" is a type of microalgae and it’s a great natural multivitamin with a high content of protein, iron, vitamin B, chlorophyll, and antioxidants.

Pineapples , chopped

Lemon , peeled

1/2 teaspon Ground Ginger
1 1/4 cups
Water
Coconut Water
1/2 tsp
Spirulina Powder
to taste
Ice
(optional)

Author's Notes

If you want to reduce the taste of the Spirulina powder, even more, you can always add some fresh mint leaves and 1/2 frozen banana!

Directions

Step 1
In a blender, add Green Apples (2 1/2) , Pineapples (2) , Lemon (1/2) , Fresh Ginger (1 in) , Water (1 1/4 cups) , and Spirulina Powder (1/2 tsp) .
Step 2
Blend all ingredients until you get a smooth but semi-thick consistency.
Step 3
Serve with Ice (to taste) and enjoy!
